5 Reasons We’re Going to Netroots Nation ‘22
We’re heading to the #NN22, the Netroots Nation Conference in one week and we are fired up and ready to learn and be inspired! Here are the top 5 reasons the three of us are headed to Pittsburgh!
To connect with and learn from like-minded people who share our values and hopes for the future.
To feel a part of something bigger than ourselves and immerse ourselves in an environment where people are doing the hard work of pushing our democracy forward.
To better understand what organizations and nonprofits need/want when it comes to making visual content that can help amplify their message and reach large audiences.
After being fairly isolated for the past few years due to COVID and bearing witness to the societal, environmental and democratic dysfunction that continues to grow, being able to go somewhere and be around people will feel like a privilege we certainly took for granted in the past.
Since the three of us are rarely ever in the same place at the same time, going to a conference like this as a team is something special that we are thrilled about. We look forward to being inspired by the other participants and speakers; we look forward to leaving the conference with a renewed passion and commitment to social justice and to continue the fight for a democratic society that includes and represents all of us by utilizing our skills as filmmakers to further the cause.
